Lynette Fiske
Associate Director

Lynette came to work at Sight Loss in 2012 and was named Associate Director in 2014. She worked at Elder Services in Dennis for many years, and her training there in home care work was crucial to her abilities to administer the Home Independence visiting for the agency. She also worked at office manager at Eastham Methodist Church, gaining familiarity with the service agencies for the outer Cape.

Lynette has low vision – myasthenia gravis in the ‘good’ eye, and macular degeneration the other. Her personal experience with vision loss makes her uniquely able to recommend and help with adaptive aids and lighting for clients. She also serves as liaison of Sight Loss Services for the Senor Low Vision project at Thirwood Place in Yarmouth.

Donna Moberg
Support Group Coordinator

Donna retired from her job as assistant to the Superintendent of Cape Tech this past fall, and joined Sight Loss Services in 2014. She now does the scheduling and administration for our 13 support groups, arranging speakers and programs. She is also liaison to municipalities for town Human Services spending. She lives with her family in East Dennis, and both her parents have progressive eye disease.

Specialty areas/training: Government services, support group coordination – meetings, speakers, presentations, etc.

Mary Dumont OutreachMary Dumont

Mary came to work for Sight Loss Services in 2012 and for many people she is the Voice of the agency. Before retiring, she worked at JTEC and Sylvan Learning Center. She honed her client skills working in the offices at the First Parish Church in Brewster and the Federated Church in Orleans.

Mary makes the calls every month to find out which clients would like to attend the meetings, and schedules the drivers and vans to provide the round trip transportation. She also fields inquiries and calls, and directs clients to staff and resources for their questions and concerns. Mary has glaucoma, which is under good control with medication.
